Welcome
The Rico Community
church began as "The People's Church" in 1891 and has served our
community and the surrounding area for over a century. We
are a fellowship of the
Presbytery
 of Western Colorado (PCUSA).
We welcome everyone to our services, regardless of religious
background,
denomination, age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation or
political persuasion. In particular, children are always welcome.
Our reverend,
Dr. Beverly Leonard, will be keeping the
church open for the next few years. Beverly was born in Ft.
Lauderdale, Florida while her father was in the navy. She grew
up, nurtured, in a Christian home and church
throughout the states

Affirmation of Faith
We believe that in life and in death we belong to God through the
grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the communion
of the Holy Spirit. We trust in the One Triune God, the Holy One
of Israel, whom also we worship and serve. With believers in every
time and place we rejoice that nothing in life or in death can
separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. Glory
be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. Amen!
